13 Year Old Has Sold 500 Paintings & Written Children's Book
Artist Camryn Green is showing black girls everywhere that big things can come in small packages. With the help of her mom, at just 8 years old Camryn became an entrepreneur and began selling her artwork. She has since sold 500 paintings, created a children's book and has even won awards for her work at the age of 13.

As if that isn't impressive enough, Green is also a philanthropist who uses her painting profits to give back to children in Liberia whose parents have died and can't afford schooling. Inspired by her young Liberian friend, she felt called to help and has been sponsoring a yearly scholarship for a 13 year girl in the country for two years.

Green is a Youth Motivator that encourages other young aspiring entrepreneurs to "set a goal for yourself, be consistent, work hard and don't give up on your dreams". Camryn has dreams of starting her own TV show where she travels around the world to help other young girls become entrepreneurs and follow their dreams.

This budding star is a shining example and true meaning of the phrase; Black Girls Rock and we here at DDS couldn't be more proud. Visit Camryn's website HERE and check out some of her amazing artwork below.
